I love engaging with young children and helping them learn through play. I have an associate of liberal arts with an emphasis in Social Science and an associate of liberal arts in general studies. I also have numerous certificates and have worked with children through numerous organizations. I have worked with children that experienced trauma through One Safe Place in Redding at the Shelter and with families as the Domestic Violence Specialist and Liaison with Children Family Services in Shasta County. I have volunteered in the Yreka State Preschool for two years and the Willow Creek TK-3rd class for two years.

I was humbled to receive the Volunteer of the Year Award for Willow Creek Elementary School District from the 1st Senate and Assembly Districts of California in May 2023. I am currently qualified as an Associate Teacher and am taking additional Early Childhood Education classes to obtain my Certificate in Early Childhood Education by June 2024.
