Denise West- Administrative Assistant /Community School Coordinator

My name is Denise West.  I began my experience in international education while attending UC Berkeley and studying abroad in England.  From there, I received a TESL certificate and taught English in Argentina for 4 years.  Since 2001, I have taught ESL in institutes throughout the USA.  After I moved to Siskiyou County, I have been increasing my educational skills here at Willow Creek starting as the SAFE Coordinator to a Paraprofessional and now as the Administrative Assistant and Community School Coordinator.  I hope to continue this passion in helping assist the community and their children to become active participants in our school community.
